The most advanced drone technology hovering over most isolated and most dangerous areas of the Philippines - but also most beautiful and enchanting places you may never see in your lifetime - unless you watch these videos.
Fly over Abu Sayaf, MNLF, MILF and ISIS terrorist havens and realise that its not like syria or iraq or afghanistan - its like paradise islands.
Roads that scale up planes and mountains, bridges that connects islands, ports that welcome tourists and make trading goods easier – this is Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi (BaSulTa) seen from above.
Watch in this video, massive infrastructure projects implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao’s (ARMM) island provinces of Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
With focus given on infra support for tourism, trade, agriculture, and industries, BaSulTa is changing landscapes. Image of conflict is now over turned as roads are now laid to provide access to breathtaking nature carved waterfalls, pristine white sand beaches and lush mountains.
Infrastructure to support farm to market connectivity and access to once isolated barangays and municipalities in ARMM, are what the 250 kilometers of road implemented in BaSulTa afford its constituency.
Aside from roads, more than 35 bridges were built, 45 ports are now in use and other numerous projects including shore protection, drainages, flood control and water systems have been put in place over the past five years.
Since 2012, more than 10 billion worth of infrastructure projects have been implemented in the three island provinces.
These infrastructure projects meant to improve the lives of every Bangasamoro in the ARMM, which was once a dream hard fought hard in the battles. These projects attest to the aspirations of every Bangsamoro – a legacy every Bangsamoro ought to preserve, support and celebrate.
