Here are some of the reasons I believe the antagonism against President Obama by the GOP is an hypocritical double standard phoney war.
Obamanomics: Rich Get Richer, Everyone Else Poorer
The latest evidence is a Pew Research Center report out this week, which shows that only the rich have made gains under Obama, while everyone else has fallen further behind.
Using Census data on net worth, the Pew report found that from 2009 to 2011, the richest 7% of Americans saw their net worth climb an average $697,651 — equal to a 28% gain. Republicans must be laughing all the way to their banks.
Obama has not rescinded Act Patriot PASSED UNDER G.W. BUSH, even though it trashes the hard fought for US Bill of Rights a shinning beacon to the rest of the world.
Obama has not closed Guantamo Bay detention centre as he promised. (Note it was placed in Cuba because it would be illegal in the US.)
Obama has not introduced SINGLE PAYER UNIVERSAL HEALTH INSURANCE instead has agreed to put most of the Republican ideas into a mish mash health care scheme that satisfies no one
Obama has handed over millions of Health Insurance contributors to for profit insurance organizations
Obama has extended patents on medicines so the Pharmaceutical Industry can continue making high profits from peoples sickness
Obama has agreed with the Pharmaceutical industry not to use the Governments purchasing power to reduce the cost of medicines
Obama has not unequivocally pulled US troops out of Iraq, but instead has replaced US Uniformed troops with paid Blackwater mercenaries which is EXACTLY WHAT G.W. BUSH INTENDED.
Obama will not fully pull US troops out of Afghanistan
Obama has used military force on more Moslem nations than G.W. Bush. Obaman has killed thousands of innocent men women and children with Drone bombers.
Even so OBAMA HAS BEEN CALLED A MOSLEM or at least a Moslem sympathizer
Obama has worked in the interest of THE INDUSTRIAL MILITARY COMPLEX President Eisenhower warned the world about.
Obama has taken billions from working families and transferred it in bailouts to the richest capitalists in the world who because of their own greed and avarice and, released from many safety regulations, brought their own downfall.This and Obama is called a Communist whose desire is to bring down the nation?
If someone can explain, in view of the above, why Obama is so hated by Republicans and conservatives whilst carrying out their policies and with such vitriolic language, I would like to know. Could it be racism?
It is not so long ago that blacks were slaves.
It is not so long ago that blacks could not choose where to sit on public transport
It is not so long ago that blacks could not sit with whites in Macdonalds
It is not so long ago that segregation laws existed
It is not so long ago that a qualified black girl was prevented from attending school by gangs of screaming whites with local government support
All the above Jim Crow laws and the violence they provoked were removed by Grass Roots liberal progressive actions against most conservative bodies
I know talking to people today that racism still exists; I also know that regarding Obama there is a sub racist context against the first black President of the US and that the Republicans are doing little to confront it.
What is pleasing however is the fact that all the nonsense hurled at Obama by the Republicans is not having the desired effect, if the Opinion Polls are a guide, in fact this unmitigated abuse seems to be counter productive as I have said before.
